Job Description

Main purpose of the job

The holder of this position will offer support in the Valuation & Modelling area while ensuring that assignments are carried out to the highest standards in order to provide outstanding value to clients and the Firm; develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters; and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.

What you will do

  • Create and review detailed financial models for various transactions such as financing, acquisitions, and valuation; use these models to analyze and forecast financial outcomes and assist in decision-making processes;
  • Perform valuation analysis using methods like Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Profitability Index. Provide insights and recommendations based on the results;
  • Write and review comprehensive reports detailing findings from financial analyses and valuations. Effectively communicate these findings to all levels of engagement management, ensuring clarity and understanding;
  • Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Utilize structured project management approaches to ensure client satisfaction and project profitability;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market data/issues to enhance the accuracy and relevance of financial models and valuations;
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions as a knowledgeable advisor. Prepare high-quality proposals and presentation materials for pitching and tender processes;
  • Continuously develop expertise in your specialization, enhancing your reputation as a trusted financial advisor. Contribute to the growth and development of our practice;
  • Participate in the creation and delivery of training programs; and
  • Act as a coach and mentor to less experienced practitioners, guiding them to reach their potential

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field;
  • Masters degree advantageous;
  • At least 3 years’ relevant working experience;
  • Other related transaction advisory expertise advantageous (e.g. Transaction Diligence, M&A Advisory etc);
  • Professional qualification i.e. CFA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent advantageous; and
  • Experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting or having worked in a professional services firm.
