Commercial Producer Intern
Switch Media Limited (fully owned by the Kenya Red Cross Society) is a dynamic digital media and production company specializing in audiovisual production, digital media solutions, creative design, and media training through the Switch Media School. We are offering an internship opportunity for a creative and driven Commercial Producer Intern. You’ll work closely with our production teams in delivering high-quality commercial and branded content projects.
Location: Nairobi
Responsibilities
Pre-Production
- Assist in research, concept development, and project planning
- Support preparation of call sheets, schedules, and production documents
- Coordinate logistics including locations, props, and talent requirements
Production (On-Set)
- Provide on-ground support during shoots
- Assist with crew coordination and time management
- Support the Commercial Producer in ensuring smooth set operations
Post-Production
- Support in organizing footage and production assets
- Assist in coordinating edits and feedback cycles
- Track project deliverables and timelines
Minimum Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Film, TV, Media, Communication, or a related field
- Basic understanding of production workflows (pre-production, production, post-production)
- Familiarity with digital content platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)
- Previous experience (academic or practical) in media or production is an added advantage
- Available for a full-time internship of at least 3 months
