Sales and Market Development Lead

Location: Nairobi, Kenya (with extensive travel as required)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Fixed)
We are seeking a Sales & Market Development Lead who will provide strong execution leadership, maintain sales momentum, support team performance, and ensure commercial sales priorities continue to be delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance across assigned territories and channels.
- Execute commercial strategies with speed, discipline, and accountability.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, pricing, and customer behavior.
- Lead, coach, and manage sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to drive aligned commercial execution.
- Use data to forecast demand, track performance, and identify gaps.
- Translate data into clear insights and performance stories for management.
- Identify commercial and operational challenges and recommend solutions.
- Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships.
- Travel frequently to support expansion, execution, and team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, or related field.
- 8+ years sales experience in fish industry, agribusiness, or FMCG.
- Proven experience managing and leading sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and growth targets.
- Experience in growing sales in new markets.
- Agile and adaptable to changing business needs.
