Job Overview
Progressive Credit Ltd, a leading credit-only institution recognized for its rapid growth, is seeking to recruit a dynamic, qualified, and competent individual for the position of Internal Auditor.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, ensuring compliance, and promoting accountability within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, processes, and procedures
- Prepare high-quality internal audit reports with practical recommendations
- Assess organizational risks and evaluate risk management effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and statutes
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements
- Identify process gaps and operational inefficiencies
- Promote ethical practices and detect improper conduct
- Conduct spot checks on high-risk units
- Safeguard company assets and systems
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement
- Carry out ad-hoc investigations under supervision
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Job Qualifications & Experience
- CPA Part II
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance or Accounting) is an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong report writing skills
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in internal audit, risk management, and compliance (preferably within a financial institution)
