About the Opportunity
Standard Group is seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and ambitious Finance Interns to join its Finance Department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and students to gain practical experience in finance, accounting, and financial operations within one of Kenya’s leading media organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
- Support financial record keeping and data entry processes.
- Help prepare financial reports and reconciliations.
- Assist in budget tracking and financial analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support the finance team in various administrative and operational tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA Part II qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems is an added advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment.
