Afri Fund Capital is hiring an Associate, Project Structuring (Trainee) to support the pre-development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Lamu and Isiolo under the LAPSSET Corridor Program.

  • Location: Nairobi
  • Contract: 12 months
  • Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable

Are you a recent graduate in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field with a passion for infrastructure development? This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and contribute to Africa’s transformation.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with technical assessments and design of SEZ layouts
  • Support multi-disciplinary feasibility studies
  • Prepare technical reports and planning documents
  • Contribute to project management, scheduling & coordination
  • Engage with public & private sector stakeholders

Requirements

  • A degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel to Lamu and Isiolo
