Brand Manager
MAIN PURPOSE
To ensure the Brand Integrity is never compromised, that there is continued growth, and that the adherence to the Brand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and IP are Non-Negotiable. Furthermore, you are to lead your team from the front and continue to develop and inspire all team members that you either manage directly or indirectly.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure all stores are adhering to and implementing the Brand SOPs making sure the brand integrity is
- always maintained.
- Ensure all staff are brand certified.
- Ensure all products and procedures are according to the brand specifications and holding Operations and
- Central Kitchen accountable for any deviations.
- Ensure the stores achieve the set financial targets and customer counts.
- Identify trends and challenges within the brand, area or specific stores and advise corrective action.
- Monitor and advise on corrective action for customer complaints in liaison with Operations.
- Carry out training needs analysis through the customer feedback forums and brand evaluations.
- Ensures successful opening of all new stores in liaison with projects and Operations.
- Monitors competitor activities and advises counter strategies in liaison with Marketing.
- Ensure that all the Area Managers are performing in line with their Job Description and that continuous
- evaluation is done in line with the set KPIs.
- Carry out periodic store management assessments to ensure the right type of Managers are in place.
- Certify the completion of Compliance audits for all stores monthly.
- Ensures all action lists are actioned accordingly in liaison with Operations.
- Generates ideas for new products and promotions for the brand.
- Ensures successful implementation of new products and monitoring performance thereof
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- A degree in Marketing, Tourism and Hospitality Management
- Possess 3 – 4 years working experience in QSR or a similar related field.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal with a sound command of the English language.
- Adept managerial and leadership abilities, with the expertise to set the example & develop leadership skills in others.
- Passionate, energetic, trustworthy & self-motivated individual with a strong & confident personality.
- Must be patient, and an active listener.
- Must be able to work in high pressured environments & be flexible to the needs of the Business.
- Good time-management, with exceptional organisational, planning, and analytical skills.
- Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
- Be self-driven & pro-active.
- Sound computer knowledge.
- A flexible team player with an ability to work successfully in a matrix hierarchical environment.
- A thorough understanding and appreciation of all the Brands’ systems, processes and procedures are a must.
- Professional objective judgement and discretion with integrity.
- Coaching/ Leading and Mentoring skills, to Area Managers.
- Show management skills in dealing with the Country Operational Staf
