Executive Assistant to the Directors

Job Description

Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 hospital in Nakuru City offering both inpatient and outpatient services and is seeking to recruit a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to support the Directors.  

​This role is essential in ensuring efficiency and coordination within the Executive Office by managing schedules, facilitating communication, organizing key activities, and providing administrative support. The Executive Assistant also plays a central role in coordinating hospital and healthcare liaison activities. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 

  • College degree or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience supporting senior leadership. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Understanding of executive office operations and hospital administrative procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational abilities. 
  • High level of confidentiality and professional discretion. 
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective engagement with stakeholders. 
  • Analytical thinking, initiative, and problem-solving ability. 
  • Experience in coordinating meetings, drafting minutes, and preparing reports.
