Jr. Business Performance Analyst (Payments & Projects)

Most specifically, the Business Performance Analyst will:

• Gaining a deep understanding of existing business payments processes, systems, and internal workflows;
• Collaborating regularly with payment teams and service providers to align processes and ensure data integrity in reporting;
• Coordinate with technical teams to initiate, prioritize, and track payment system enhancement tickets in Jira, ensuring adherence to sprint workflows and on-time deployment;
• Perform data extraction, cleaning, and transformation (ETL) processes to prepare structured datasets optimized for reliable reporting and analytical dashboards;
• Create and maintain database structures, indexes, and constraints for optimised tables;
• Create and maintain active dashboards for business analyses that provide clear visualization of business KPI’s;
• Provide assistance and data in the preparation of board meeting materials and presentations;
• Provide ad-hoc reports to various stakeholders and product teams;
• Perform tasks as deemed necessary by immediate supervisor/manager;   

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent practical experience;
• Experience with handling big datasets and confidence working with complex data and systems;
• Knowledgeable and experience in MySQL/SQL Server, Google Cloud Platform, Big Query;
• Able write intermediate queries (joins, stored procedure and functions)
• Expertise in working with Excel to automate reports;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Able to work effectively both as a team member and independently;
• Keen attention to detail and proficiency in numbers;
• High initiative and motivation to learn new things and detail oriented;
• Able to work under pressure and flexible working hours;
• Willing to render to overtime and/or be in shifting schedule, or holiday;
• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically;
• Experience in working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.) is a plus;
• Experience with data analysis and data presentation at least 1 year is a plus;
