KONE Kenya is looking for a Maintenance Operations Excellence Specialist to be based in our Nairobi, Kenya office. As a Maintenance Operations Excellence Specialist, you will report to and partner with the Field Operations Manager and frontline management to implement, monitor, and optimize end-to-end business processes and supporting systems. Your role will ensure compliance, enhance operational performance, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations.
What will you do:
- Analyze and leverage KPIs to enhance daily operations in alignment with strategic focus areas.
- Propose actionable improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Operations Excellence Manager and regional Maintenance Operations Managers to set and monitor targets aligned with the Field Operations Management Model.
- Train Supervisors and Maintenance Operations Managers on maintenance tools and processes to ensure effective adoption.
- Optimize routes, capacity planning, and maintenance profiles within the Front Line (FL).
- Identify and gather improvement ideas to support the development of global operational methods.
- Provide hands-on support for new deployments, driving the adoption, utilization, and continuous improvement of KONE Way (KW) business processes and tools into daily operations.
Are you the one?
- Holds a university degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrates experience in project management and benefit realization (preferred).
- Possesses prior experience in business performance management (preferred).
- Has familiarity with ERP systems or other reporting solutions (preferred).
- Exhibits strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English (highly desirable).
