Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Provide quality theoretical and clinical instructions to students to ensure mastery of
content and skills. - Maintain clinical capability via regular clinical practice and take full responsibility of
own professional development. - Monitor student performance to maintain institutional standards.
- Supervise students on research proposals and report writing.
- Develop and review curriculum in line with Nursing council requirements and
standards. - Assess students through theory and practical to monitor their progress.
- Maintain students’ records as required by the Nursing council.
- Participate in quality programs, clinical audit and research.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Post graduate Diploma in Technical Education.
- Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and have a Current nursing practice
license. - Minimum two (2) years’ experience in teaching in a nursing school.
- BLS/ACLS training an added advantage.
- Computer Literacy.
