Procurement Officer at Westlands Specialist Hospital

Looking to grow your career in healthcare procurement? Westlands Specialist Hospital is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to support efficient sourcing and supply of medical and non-medical items in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure medical supplies, equipment, and services
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Ensure timely delivery and stock availability
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a hospital setting (Mandatory) Strong knowledge of medical supplies and procurement processes
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and MS Office
  •  High integrity and attention to detail
