Sales Representative B2B
Role Overview
The B2B Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and converting business clients such as corporate offices, hotels, schools, developers, institutions, and interior designers. The role requires a highly driven and customer-oriented salesperson who understands the furniture retail landscape and can deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
This position is responsible for building and nurturing strong business relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients, showroom, warehouse, and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities to grow institutional and corporate sales.
- Conduct market research to map potential client segments (corporates, real estate, hospitality, institutions, etc.).
- Schedule and conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships.
- Handle client inquiries professionally and provide accurate product information, quotations, and after-sales support.
- Maintain ongoing communication to drive repeat business and referrals.
3. Sales Execution & Revenue Delivery
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual B2B sales targets.
- Prepare customized proposals and negotiate contracts in line with company policies.
- Coordinate orders seamlessly with the showroom team, warehouse, and logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure credit policies are followed.
4. Product Knowledge & Merchandising Input
- Maintain strong knowledge of all furniture categories, specifications, materials, and finishes.
- Advise procurement and merchandising teams on client trends, preferred SKUs, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide feedback on potential new products to enhance the B2B offering.
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and client feedback summaries.
- Use CRM or sales tracking tools to log interactions, visits, and sales progress.
- Collaborate with showroom teams to support B2B clients visiting branches.
Key Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2–3 years) in B2B sales, preferably in furniture, interiors, retail, or FMCG.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Good presentation and proposal-writing skills.
- Strong understanding of sales cycles and B2B decision-making processes.
- Goal-driven with proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Valid driving license (added advantage).
