Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in compiling reference materials and drafting simple literature reviews on topics related to BRAC International’s work (e.g., youth empowerment, early childhood development, livelihoods).
- Assist in organizing and participating in meetings and calls with internal teams and external partners.
- Assist in preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and documenting follow-up actions.
- Assist in preparing materials for training, webinars, or workshops.
- Support the testing of research tools, including surveys and interview guides.
- Support the cleaning and organization of quantitative or qualitative data.
- Transcribe qualitative data (e.g., interview and focus group recordings) verbatim, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Assist with basic data analysis and help produce simple tables, charts, or summaries for internal use.
- Contribute to internal or external knowledge products such as blogs, reports, or slide decks.
- Support with formatting, proofreading, and organizing study protocols, reports, and other documents.
- Help maintain shared files and knowledge management systems.
Safeguarding responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Academic Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or current final-year student in international development, public policy, data sciences, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (completed or in progress) is an advantage, but not required.
Required Skills, Competencies & Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good prioritization and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and platforms.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Interest in the development sector and openness to working in a multicultural environment.
