Theatre Nurse

About the Role

South B Hospital is currently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Theatre Nurse to join its dynamic healthcare team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong perioperative experience and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile operating theatre environment
  • Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures
  • Perform scrub, circulating, and recovery nursing duties
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards
  • Maintain accurate theatre records and documentation

Key Requirements

  • Higher Diploma in Perioperative Nursing
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in theatre/operating room
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure
