Vacuum Cooling Agent

Description

• Check at the start of the shift if both the VC and FAC machines are in excellent working condition and ready to use
• Ensure to follow clearly instructions from the VC/FAC protocol on performing cycle duties to match client/product requirement.
• Correct and timely post VC /FAC reports generation and communication.
• Timely update on Cargo wise on shipments Vacuum Cooled/ Forced Air Cooled for billing purposes.
• Ensure timely escalations are made to none performance of machines to the supervisor or coordinator or maintenance team.
• Timely and accurate temperature recording of the push out temperatures of all cuttings and herbs shipments including photo of BUP and send on JotForm app accordingly.
• Effectively and timely taking other push-out temperatures as per customers’ requirements.
• Communicates to maintenance on correct temperatures settings while performing VC/FAC related duties.
• Placing and retrieval of data loggers in and out of shipments that require logger information during cycles.
• Ensure full awareness of flights timings by having updated booking sheets for both Freighters and Line flights.
• Liaise with Palletizers on shipments to be done for VC or FAC for smooth operation.
• Assist with any other task in the operations department during periods when there are no VC/FAC activities to be done.
• Reports daily KPIs and any deviations from procedures to Supervisor or coordinator.
• Adhere to all health and safety SOPs of the company.

Requirements

• “O” Level (KCSE C-)
• Further training on/ possession of any relevant logistics Course/ Aviation Course Export Documentation will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience of at least 2 (Two) years and above.
• English & Swahili: fluency in written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft® Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint®, and others)
• Knowledge of cargo wise is an added advantage.
