Project Management Lead – Construction

Job Description

Reporting to the COE Lead; Property & Workplace Services the role holder will be involved in Project management of construction work and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold the company code of conduct, policies and procedures, ensuring integrity and accountability in every aspect of your work.
  • All employees have a responsibility to adhere to safety, health, and wellbeing policies, guidelines and procedures in all actions and decisions.
  • Project manage the implementation of office infrastructure construction.
  • Facilitate and co-ordinate the office designs related to power, HVAC and fire systems via externally appointed consultants.
  • Perform the role of Risk Champion for the project (Timelines, costs, safety etc).
  • Ensure quality of delivery in the design, construction and installation of plant and equipment of the office infrastructure (Quality Assurance).
  • Stakeholder management and reporting (client, project consultants, contractors and any other stakeholder).
  • Safety and Health Champion. Ensure all safety, health and wellbeing standards are held in the project implementation.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ Project Management experience of office infrastructure projects (power, HVAC, fire, security etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in MEP infrastructure designs (power, HVAC, fire, security etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and alarming platforms.
  • Solid understanding of office building infrastructure and how the related Plant, Machinery and
  • Equipment works e.g. UPSs, rectifiers, generators, CRAC units, chillers etc.
  • Physical on-site Project Management experience.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Construction Management Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years’ project management experience in office infrastructure projects 
  • At least Prince II certified Project Manager.
