Description
- Marshalling of arrived trucks correctly at the yard and guiding for Verification of s number via documents reception area.
- Allocation of truck to dock accordingly based on number of boxes and market.
- Ensuring the truck docking is guided whilst reversing. Ensure trucks are offloaded within minimal turn around and in an orderly Marner, First in First out.
- Ensure correct intake process is followed as per intake SOP and escalate timely of any discrepancies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming shipments, escalations of intake related issues and timely communication.
- Assist in workforce planning, including scheduling, task delegation, and workload balancing.
- Ensure correct weighing of shipment and reweigh and shipments as per customers’ requirements.
- Able to check on pallet serviceability, palletize shipments correctly and report on the buildup status as per Instructed by supervisor.
- Support shipments build ups as per guided flights allocations, as and when required.
- Transit sheds shipments processing, as per given instructions.
- Prepare daily reports on intake of shipments and share timely.
- Be point of customer experience, both internal and external customers.
- Champion company’s agendas on QHSE and KAIZEN
- Check and maintain quality data accuracy.
- Proactive in maintaining cool chain procedures.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- “O” Level (KCSE C-)
- Further training on Cargo Handling Operations and DGR will be added advantage.
- Hands on experience of at least 2 (Two) years and above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft® Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint®, and others)
- Knowledge in Cargo wise.
