Graduate Trainee – Finance & Credit
Department: Finance & Credit (with rotation across other departments as required)
Reports to: Assigned Departmental Supervisor / Head of Department
Job Purpose
The Graduate Trainee Program is designed to provide recent graduates with practical, hands-on experience in key business functions, with a strong focus on Finance and Credit. The role equips trainees with technical, analytical, and professional skills to support business growth and compliance, while offering exposure to multiple departments across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day operations within the Finance and Credit departments, including data entry, reconciliations, loan processing, and reporting.
- Support credit administration tasks such as verification of client documentation, loan appraisal, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work with finance teams on budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
- Participate in departmental rotations (e.g., Sales, IT, Human Capital, Operations) to broaden organizational knowledge.
- Conduct research and prepare reports to support decision-making in assigned projects.
- Learn and apply company policies, procedures, and standards across all departments.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and propose innovative ideas for efficiency.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under supervision as well as independently.
- Flexibility to work across different departments and adapt to diverse assignments.
