Job Summary
CITAM Seeks to recruit born-again Christians who are experienced and self-motivated to fill the positions of Junior School Teachers whose responsibility will be to educate and develop learners grounded on Christian principles to become holistic, competitive, and responsible citizens.
The position reports to the Principal.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for CBC learners.
- Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor learners’ progress, providing feedback and support.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Engage learners using innovative and interactive teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school management for the overall development of learners.
- Participate in co-curricular activities and other school programs.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be born-again, mature Christians who conform to the CITAM statement of faith.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Secondary option)
- Minimum C+ Grade in KCSE
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) will be an added advantage
- CBC Training Certification
- Ability to teach at least two subjects
- Minimum of five (5) Years teaching experience.
- Registered by TSC in good standing.
- Competence in co-curricular activities will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to work in other towns within the Country.
