Job Summary
The Accounts Intern will assist in daily finance and accounting operations, gaining practical exposure to bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general administrative support within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and posting accounting entries
- Support account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Department as required
Key Competencies & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- CPA Section II or equivalent qualification is an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
- High level of professionalism, responsibility, and confidentiality
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
