Store Manager
We seek a seasoned and strategic Store Manager to oversee our warehouse operations, ensuring that our supply chain is efficient, secure, and optimized for peak performance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of inventory control, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage and mitigate risks within the inventory process discreetly.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize Inventory Control Procedures:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance inventory control and management.
- Ensure protocols are in place to accurately track stock levels, mitigate loss, and maintain product integrity.
Stock Level Management:
- Regularly inspect stock levels of business supplies and raw materials, identifying and addressing potential shortages.
- Ensure adequate product availability across all distribution channels, aligning stock levels with customer demand.
Inventory Tracking and Reconciliation:
- Record and reconcile daily deliveries and shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in inventory documentation.
- Use advanced inventory management software (e.g. SAGE 300 ERP) to monitor demand, track inventory characteristics, and generate detailed reports.
Supply Chain Coordination:
- Place orders to replenish stock, balancing between avoiding shortages and preventing excessive surplus.
- Analyze inventory data to anticipate future needs, ensuring the organization is prepared for fluctuations in demand.
Supplier Evaluation and Relationship Management:
- Evaluate suppliers to secure cost-effective deals while maintaining strong and trustworthy relationships.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, minimizing delays and disruptions.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with warehouse employees, sales, and marketing teams to ensure that business goals are met and inventory aligns with sales projections.
- Report to upper management on stock levels, inventory issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Risk Mitigation and Compliance:
- Identify potential risks within the inventory process and discreetly implement measures to mitigate these risks.
- Ensure all inventory activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Warehousing, or Construction Management.
- ICMS: Have an active ICMS login or experience
Bonded Warehouse knowledge
- Experience: Proven experience of 5-7 years as an Inventory/warehouse Manager or in a similar position within large-scale warehouse operation with more than 3000 SKUs.
