Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats or breaches.
- Implement, manage, and monitor security tools, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Support internal and external audits on ICT security.
- Train and raise awareness among staff on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in ICT Security (e.g., CISA, CISM).
- Additional certifications such as Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) and Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with various network and database monitoring tools.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Thorough understanding of networks (LAN/WAN), firewalls, and other ICT security vulnerabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
