Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 healthcare facility providing both inpatient and outpatient services. We are seeking a Billing Nurse to join our team and act as a critical link between the nursing and finance departments. The role ensures patients receive safe, high-quality care while maintaining cost-effective billing practices and timely processing of financial and insurance-related matters. 

Requirements

The Billing Nurse will coordinate patient billing and insurance processes, support efficient patient discharge, and ensure accurate documentation of services. The role involves close collaboration with nurses, physicians, insurers, and finance staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes, timely invoicing, and adherence to hospital protocols. 

Qualifications: 

• Diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse from a recognized institution. 
• Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya. 
• Valid practising license from the Nursing Council of Kenya. 
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience. 
• Proficiency in computer applications. 
• Valid BLS certificate. 
• ACLS training and certification will be an added advantage.
