VACANCY: ASSISTANT ICT OFFICER (1 POSITION)

Location: Nairobi

Taqwa SACCO, Kenya’s first Sharia-compliant financial institution (est. 1998), invites applications from qualified and proactive individuals for the position of Assistant ICT Officer.

Job Purpose:

Support the SACCO’s ICT infrastructure through technical assistance, system maintenance, and data security to ensure smooth and reliable ICT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff.
  • Install, configure, and maintain ICT hardware and software.
  • Monitor and support network security measures.
  • Assist in database management and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support ICT policy implementation and user training.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Prior ICT support experience is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in hardware, software, and networking.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
