Area Sales Manager
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for handling the company’s strategic group of clients in the assigned region and ensuring that the set sales targets are consistently achieved.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage, coach, and mentor the team of Sales Reps to achieve the set company targets.
- Effectively manage, develop, and grow the Channel Partners in the region to achieve set company targets.
- Ensure an effective route to consumer to guarantee availability and visibility of Tropikal Brands Limited products in the retail landscape.
- Ensure all outlets in the region are mapped and sequenced within the Sales Reps’ and Distributor Sales Reps’ route plans.
- Manage price changes and price compliance at retail.
- Grow outlet universe by recruiting new outlets and listing products as per the set target.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and share insights with management while taking corrective action.
- Ensure timely execution of consumer and trade promotions to engage consumers on product benefits and awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Degree in a Business-related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in FMCG, with at least 2 years as an Area Sales Manager in the FMCG sector.
- Demonstrable experience working with targets for self, team, and distributors.
- Good understanding of the general trade retail landscape.
- Strategic thinker.
- Customer/Client engagement.
