A Retail Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sales Department. Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, the Sales Coordinator plays a key role in facilitating communication and coordination among the Telesales Team Leader, Counter Sales Leader, Retail Outlets, and Sales Admin Team.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Communication and Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to sales activities.
- Facilitate communication between the Retail Sales Manager, Telesales Team Leader, Counter Sales Leader, Retail Outlets, and Sales Admin Team.
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and other communication channels for effective team collaboration.
Sales Support
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities including customer interactions, sales orders, and contracts.
- Support the sales team in managing customer accounts, resolving issues, and responding to inquiries.
Data Management and Analysis
- Maintain sales data from the ERP and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Generate sales reports and analytics to provide insights into sales trends and performance.
- Assist in analyzing market data, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Retail Sales Manager and sales team, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
- Assist in preparing sales-related documents such as contracts, price lists, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate logistics for sales events, trade shows, and customer visits.
Customer Service
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns and escalate issues appropriately.
Key Outputs/Deliverables
- Accurate data on customer information and sales orders for Retail Management and the team.
- Timely and accurate sales reports.
- Weekly sales plans for all team members as approved by the Retail Manager.
- Tracking sales activity with Telesales, Counter Sales, and Retail Outlets, and preparing summary reports.
- Checking accuracy of quotations, invoices, and local purchase orders.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Finance, or related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in sales.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
