We are seeking a Social Media & Graphics Designer Lead who will oversee the development of compelling visual content and design strategies that effectively communicate the brand’s values, drive customer engagement, and enhance brand recognition across multiple channels. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to ensure a cohesive and consistent brand experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative process for all brand and marketing materials, including digital, print, and social media assets.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
- Work within the marketing team to conceptualize and execute innovative campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Create visually appealing and on-brand graphics, layouts, and designs for websites, social media, email marketing, print collateral, and more.
- Initiate all stages of design, from concept to production, ensuring high-quality results that meet project goals.
- Manage any outside designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance team creativity and performance.
- Social Media Management: Ensure brand consistency in all social media communications and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor brand performance and ensure that all creative assets are aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Ensure customer feedback is up to data/timely
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to keep the brand’s design strategies fresh and relevant.
- Propose new and innovative design solutions to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Work with the relevant teams to prioritize projects based on business needs and goals
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, Communications, or related field from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3+ years in graphic design and social media management
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Canva Pro
- Expertise in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Hootsuite.
- Strong understanding of Kenyan digital trends multilingual content, and culturally resonant visuals.
