Niobi is a fintech on a mission to build the complete payments and banking infrastructure for businesses operating across Africa. The Senior Growth Executive will have the opportunity to contribute towards the acceleration of our next phase of growth by driving revenue generation, strategic partnerships and client expansion. This is a high impact position with plenty of room for creativity and ideas while working closely with management to directly influence how Niobi scales.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow a strong pipeline of qualified client leads
  • Drive client acquisition through structured outreach, demos, negotiation and conversion
  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies aligned with growth targets
  • Establish and nurture strategic B2B partnerships to expand distribution channels
  • Refine and optimize the sales cycle, product demonstrations and sales collateral
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and expansion opportunities
  • Consistently update and manage all engagements within the CRM system
  • Provide accurate pipeline forecasts and periodic performance reports to management
  • Conduct market research to identify new verticals, segments and partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
  • Meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets, contributing to a high performance growth culture

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline 
  • At least 3 years’ work experience in business development or account management (preferably in payments, banking or fintech industries)
  • Self-driven, adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast evolving environment
  • Good communication, negotiation and collaboration skills with a team-oriented work style 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (preferably Zoho Desk and Hubspot)
