1. Farm Intern

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and budgeting for farm activities to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation while minimizing wastage.
  • Assist in supervising farm attendants.
  • Record farm activities and processes for effective monitoring of herd and crop performance.
  • Confirm treatment compliance to ensure efficient crop and animal treatment.
  • Ensure safety in handling of chemicals to minimize risk of intoxication and wastage.
  • Assist in marketing produce to reduce harvest wastage and secure the best prices.

Job Specifications

  • Diploma in General Agriculture.
  • Ability to communicate in English or Kiswahili.

2. Customer Care Intern

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback to customers.
  • Receive and respond to client calls.
  • Attend to and direct customers and visitors to relevant offices within the Polytechnic.
  • Support internal communication efforts to keep staff informed and engaged.
  • Assist in maintaining a digital archive of communication materials and media coverage.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Media and Digital Communication, Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, or Public Relations from a recognized institution.
  • Ability to communicate in English or Kiswahili.
