Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for supporting membership growth, recruitment, and engagement within HAPROK as a business membership organization.

The Membership Intern will actively contribute to outreach initiatives, member acquisition activities, and communication efforts aimed at expanding and strengthening the HAPROK membership base.

Key objectives:

  • Support recruitment of new members.
  • Contribute to measurable growth in membership numbers.
  • Enhance visibility of HAPROK among potential industry members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your specific duties will include and not limited to the following:

  • Support the identification and mapping of potential member companies within the sector.
  • Participate in outreach activities, including calls, emails, and physical visits to prospective members.
  • Present the HAPROK membership value proposition to potential members.
  • Follow up on leads and track recruitment progress.
  • Assist in organizing member engagement meetings and networking forums.
  • Prepare marketing materials and membership briefs.
  • Maintain and update membership recruitment tracking reports.
  • Support social media and digital communication efforts aimed at attracting new members.
  • Assist in onboarding new members and ensuring smooth registration documentation.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the HAPROK Coordinator from time to time.

Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

Personal Attributes and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in marketing and business development.
  • Confident communication and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to engage potential members professionally.
  • Good networking ability.
  • Basic understanding of sales or membership recruitment processes.
  • Self-driven and target oriented.
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to undertake field visits.
