The In-House Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales by converting walk-in customers, inbound inquiries, and leads into confirmed orders. The role ensures excellent customer engagement while delivering a consistent Royal Mabati sales and brand experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-3 years’ experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Experience in roofing, construction, hardware, or manufacturing is an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to in-person or inbound customer inquiries about products and pricing.
- Promote products and close sales within the office/showroom environment. Follow up on internal leads and referrals.
- Update CRM with lead status and interaction notes.
- Provide personalized service and build rapport with walk-in clients.
- Handle objections and guide customers through the purchase process. • Meet or exceed individual sales targets.
- Report daily sales figures and lead conversions.
- Adhere to company sales policies and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy in product descriptions and price communication
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and persuasion skills (English & Kiswahili)
- Sales-driven with strong closing ability
- Customer-focused and results-oriented
- Ability to explain technical products clearly
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
- Basic computer literacy (CRM, Excel, POS systems)
