BBROOD is a high-quality bakery in East Africa that offers top quality products and wonderful customer experience. We are looking to expand the team with a creative person to support our social media and marketing activities and who has a flair for marketing food products. As our office team is relatively small, this position also opens an opportunity to get exposure to other parts of our business such as customer support and event organisation.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Generate ideas for valuable and engaging content for our website and social media platforms that attracts and converts our target groups to customers.
- Visit outlets to evaluate implementation of marketing activities and outlet image in line with our brand concept.
- Event marketing: Actively source for participation in strategic events geared towards increasing sales and promoting brand awareness.
- Conduct regular surveys on product performance, new product ideas, customer service and satisfaction, and give recommendations for improvement.
- Assist the office team in other business activities as required.
Requirements
- Creative person with a learning attitude and equipped with experience using graphic design softwares and social media platforms.
- Must have affinity for food and flair for marketing food products.
- Able to understand the BBROOD customers and target campaigns accordingly
- Proven experience in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate consumption.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a love for great copy.
- Be all-rounded and able to operate in a dynamic office set-up.
