Contract Duration: 9 – 12 Months

Victory Farms is building a centralized warehouse to power multi-country operations across Kenya, Rwanda, and future East African markets. As the Warehouse Implementation Lead, you will own the end-to-end setup: translating designs into reality, building robust processes, embedding inventory discipline, and launching a high-performing operation from Day 1. This role is Perfect for a hands-on warehouse expert who thrive on execution and operational excellence in dynamic, growing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Layout

  • Develop efficient warehouse layouts, optimize space utilization, and specify racking/material handling equipment to maximize through put and safety.

Process & Systems Implementation

  • Develop comprehensive SOPs for all warehouse functions; implement inventory control systems including bin locations, barcode integration, and cycle counting protocols.
  • Establish end-to-end processes for inbound receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure inventory accuracy and real-time visibility.

Operations & Execution

  • Lead initial stock migration and cutover from legacy systems with zero stock loss.
  • Drive operational excellence through strict housekeeping, 5S implementation, and safety compliance (OSH Act Kenya); collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report on warehouse KPIs (OTIF, inventory shrinkage, pick accuracy, space utilization).
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks, risks, and cost-saving opportunities; lead Kaizen/Lean initiatives to drive year-on-year performance improvements.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years experience in warehouse or logistics operations
  • Proven experience operationalising or reorganising warehouse environments
  • Strong inventory management and stock control background with demonstrated ability to improve inventory accuracy and process discipline
  • Experience working within ERP or WMS-enabled systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with 3PLs, bonded warehouses, or regulated environments a plus
