Job Objective
The position holder will be responsible for monitoring class attendance and student academic experience at the University. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Registrar – Academics,
Duties and responsibilities
- Monitoring daily class attendance by the faculty and students as per the approved timetable.
- Overseeing the implementation and optimisation of teaching and examination timetables, ensuring alignment with approved workloads.
- Monitoring the utilisation of teaching resources and the efficiency of class timetables.
- Providing reports of accurate numbers of students per unit, per program, per semester.
- Communicating with guardians and students on students absenteeism.
- Providing accurate class attendance data for examination counters.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new students
- Providing administrative support during examinations, graduation and certification processes.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor or as captured in the detailed job description.
Qualification and experience
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Education, Management Science, Business or a related field from an accredited University.
- At least one (1) year of working experience in a large and reputable organization
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office Suite, other relevant data management software).
- Demonstrated experience in record keeping, reporting, and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
