The Assistant Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and implementing creative design solutions in alignment with Company’s brand guidelines. The role supports all visual communication needs across marketing campaigns, product branding, digital platforms, and corporate communications, with the objective of enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar graphic design role, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or retail/FMCG sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating visual content for digital and print (social media, posters, flyers, brochures, banners).
- Design visuals for digital platforms including website banners, email campaigns, social media posts, and online advertisements.
- Support senior graphic designer in executing creative concepts and campaigns.
- Support the design and adaptation of promotional materials for product launches, trade shows, activations, and retail promotions.
- Liaise with printers, signage suppliers, and production vendors to ensure quality output and timely delivery.
- Work with internal departments to develop visually engaging internal communication material
- Stay updated on industry design trends, competitor branding, and new technologies to keep Royal Mabati’s visuals modern and competitive.
- Suggest fresh ideas to improve visual communication.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign (After Effects is a plus). Ability to design for both digital and print platforms.
- Familiarity with photography, videography, or basic video editing is an advantage.
