Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Production Manager in planning and scheduling production activities.
  • Monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Supervise assembly teams to meet production targets and timelines.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff for skill and performance improvement.
  • Conduct quality checks on parts and finished products to meet company standards.
  • Coordinate with material handling teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  • Enforce safety policies and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Implement process improvements (e.g., Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing) to boost efficiency.
  • Prepare daily production reports on output, yield, and efficiency metrics.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001 & 14001 standards.
  • Membership in a professional engineering body is an added advantage.
