Job Summary
The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, managing profitability, and ensuring excellent branch operations. This role requires a strong leader capable of maximizing market share, enhancing customer experience, and delivering sustainable financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Growth
- Drive market dominance and increase market share
- Ensure branch targets and budgets are met or exceeded
- Identify and maximize new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client networks within the locality
2. Profitability Management
- Take full ownership of the branch’s Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Optimize both human and material resources for profitability
- Expand customer wallet share across all segments
- Implement strategies to maximize branch performance
3. Branch Operations & Leadership
- Oversee branch operations, customer service, and market-facing functions
- Ensure excellent customer experience across all touchpoints
- Maintain brand standards and branch ambience
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies
- Lead, mentor, and develop the branch team while fostering a learning culture
Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
- Achievement of the approved Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the branch
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university
- A Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage
- Minimum of:
- 5 years’ primary banking experience (sales or operations)
- 2 years’ experience in retail/commercial banking or branch operations
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
