Overview
Veteran Mission Hospital, a fast-growing healthcare facility dedicated to compassionate, accessible, and high-quality medical care, is seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, strategic, and passionate about expanding healthcare access and partnerships.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Execute growth strategies for key service areas including OPD, clinics, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging, maternity, and corporate/insurance clients.
- Engage corporates, schools, NGOs, and insurers for wellness programs and medical service agreements.
- Manage client accounts, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Lead and support medical camps, outreach programs, and hospital branding activities.
- Monitor market trends, track competition, and prepare reports and business proposals.
- Enhance client retention, satisfaction, and feedback mechanisms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, healthcare marketing, or client relations (hospital or pharmaceutical industry preferred).
- Strong networking skills with proven ability to build corporate and insurance partnerships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
- Target-oriented, budget-conscious, and driven by measurable results.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for healthcare.
Added Advantage:
- Experience in hospital or clinic operations, health insurance, or medical sales.
- Familiarity with SHA, private insurers, and healthcare contracting processes.
