Role Purpose Statement:
The Corporate Finance Analyst will provide critical financial analysis and strategic support to the business, driving informed decision-making on capital investments, cost optimisation, and resource allocation. This role will focus on evaluating financial performance, preparing forecasts, and analysing business risks to support sustainable growth.
The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to budgeting and financial planning, and assist in developing strategies that enhance operational efficiency and profitability. Additionally, the role includes monitoring compliance with financial policies and reporting requirements while identifying opportunities for process improvement and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models specific to aviation operations, including fleet planning, route profitability, and infrastructure costing.
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress-testing for key industry risks such as fuel price volatility, FX fluctuations, and liquidity constraints.
- Support capital restructuring initiatives, including hybrid instruments and equity solutions for subsidiaries.
- Prepare board papers, investor presentations, and executive dashboards with clear visual communication.
- Benchmark airline financial and operational performance against industry peers.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and strategy teams to ensure compliance with finance and governance policies.
- Contribute to special projects such as fleet expansion, infrastructure development, and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, aviation finance, or actuarial analysis.
- Professional qualifications (CFA, CPA, ACCA, Actuarial certifications) are an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS and international accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and scenario planning.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
