Job Overview
Africa Safari Trips is seeking a Customer Satisfaction / Sales Support Agent to join its dynamic team in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless safari experiences for clients traveling across Africa. This position requires a strong customer service mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and close collaboration with an international sales team.
Fluency in French or Spanish is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Support: Be available 24/7 during customer travel to handle emergencies and urgent matters.
- Ground Inquiries: Manage on-ground bookings and verify customer payments.
- Complaint Resolution: Collaborate with reservations and transport teams to resolve safari-related complaints.
- Procedures & Escalation: Follow established issue-resolution procedures and meet customers in cases of major incidents.
- Refund Management: Process customer refunds as approved and directed by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the tourism industry and current trends
- Strong understanding of major safari destinations in Kenya
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English
- Fluency in French or Spanish (mandatory)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field
