Cyber Security Analyst

Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital is inviting applications from qualified professionals for the position of Cyber Security Analyst to support secure and resilient healthcare systems.

Job Summary

The Cyber Security Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure systems are secure, compliant, and resilient. The role focuses on protecting patient data and supporting high-quality healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure IT systems and networks
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement security controls
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and policies
• Respond to and manage security incidents
• Support continuous improvement of security infrastructure

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cyber Security Analyst
• At least one of the following certifications:
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and tools
