Job Role
The Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring minimal downtime to achieve set OEE targets, performing preventive maintenance (PM) on all equipment, and conducting root cause analysis (RCA) on defective machines.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance as per the planned schedule
- Prepare and maintain shift maintenance and breakdown reports
- Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and repair electrical motors and plant equipment to meet OEE targets
- Monitor HT/LV panels and generators and ensure proper changeover during power failures
- Perform preventive maintenance on all related electrical equipment
- Manage and audit spare stock
- Generate maintenance tasks and liaise with engineers for execution and resolution
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

Qualifications
- Craft Certificate, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of electrical machinery and electronic maintenance
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- Basic computer literacy
