- Plan and coordinate daily editorial content in line with audience trends and strategic priorities.
- Assign stories to writers and manage the editorial workflow efficiently.
- Edit, proofread, and fact-check submitted articles to ensure clarity, accuracy, and quality.
- Approve and prepare content for publication.
- Publish the ePaper using relevant digital publishing tools and CMS platforms.
- Identify trending and viral content opportunities, particularly from social media.
- Ensure timely coverage of analytical political developments (Kenyan and global).
- Optimize headlines and content for engagement and traffic growth.
- Lead and mentor writers to maintain high editorial standards and productivity.
