Their key responsibilities include:

• Plan and coordinate daily editorial content in line with audience trends and strategic priorities.
• Assign stories to writers and manage the editorial workflow efficiently.
• Edit, proofread, and fact-check submitted articles to ensure clarity, accuracy, and quality.
• Approve and prepare content for publication.
• Publish the ePaper using relevant digital publishing tools and CMS platforms.
• Identify trending and viral content opportunities, particularly from social media.
• Ensure timely coverage of analytical political developments (Kenyan and global).
• Optimize headlines and content for engagement and traffic growth.
• Lead and mentor writers to maintain high editorial standards and productivity.
