To strengthen our team, we are seeking to fill the following position:
POSITION: FINANCE INTERN
Reporting to: Front Office Coordinator
Purpose
To glorify God by ensuring proper accounting and collection of cash in assigned units.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and receipt all funds paid to the hospital while accounting for all receipts to the Front Office Coordinator
- Send and follow up on patients’ pre-authorization with insurances while providing clear communication to the patient
- Advise patients on billing matters
- Ensure provision of quality service to customers
- Perform patients’ financial clearance, validating corporate patients and billing
- Establish accurate, honest, and positive relationships with internal and external customers
Applicants’ Qualifications, Experience, Competencies, and Attributes
- Must have a minimum of CPA Intermediate Level (CPA II) or a Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Commerce
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Business Information Technology
- Must have knowledge in the use of MS Office packages
