Position Title: GME Intern
Department: Graduate Medical Education (GME)
Reporting To: Manager, Graduate Medical Education
Purpose of the Role
To glorify God by providing excellent, efficient, and compassionate healthcare support within the Graduate Medical Education Department, ensuring smooth operations, minimizing service delivery gaps, improving efficiency, and ensuring timely response to customer requests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, memos, and invoices
- Maintain office filing and storage systems
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and data
- Prepare training materials required by trainers
- Receive and dispatch correspondence within the division
Qualifications, Experience, Competencies & Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Health Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to learn hospital systems
- Strong administrative, organizational, and documentation skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-motivated, well-organized, service-oriented, and able to work effectively in a faith-based healthcare and academic environment
