Job summary:

Outspan Teaching and Referral Hospital (OTRH), a leading Level 5 Teaching and Referral Hospital within the Outspan Global health and education ecosystem, invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals to fill the position of ICT Manager at its Nyeri Branch.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Infrastructure management – design, implement and maintain the hospital’s ICT infrastructure – networks, servers, hardware and software
• System optimization – oversee hospital information system (HIS), electronic health records and billing systems to ensure efficiency
• Cyber security and compliance – implement IT security policies, ensure compliance with data protection act and manage cyber security threats.
• Strategic leadership – develop IT strategies aligned with hospital strategic plan
• Manage ICT department budget
• Support and training – lead the ICT team in providing technical support and conduct staff training on system usage

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field
• At least 3 years work experience in a health care set up
• Technical skills in networking, server administration and database management
