Job Profile:

- Report to: Head of ICT and Innovation.
- Location: Dimkes DT Sacco Head Office.
- Work Pattern/Hours: As per the Sacco’s HR Policy-Full time.
- Start date: Immediately.
Role Purpose Statement:
The ICT Officer is responsible for managing, securing, and continuously improving the SACCO’s ICT infrastructure and information systems in compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements to ensure the availability, confidentiality, integrity, and reliability of ICT services supporting business operations.
Ideal Job Holder Specifications:
Academic:
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, cybersecurity, software engineering, or related discipline from a recognized institution;
Professional:
- Relevant ICT professional certifications will be an added advantage (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, ISACA, MCSE, CISA, CompTIA, ITIL, ISO/Information Security related certifications).
- Experience supporting Core Banking or ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Navision) within a SACCO or financial institution will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrable skills in database administration and systems/software architecture.
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation skills, with ability to work independently.
Desired Work Experience:
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar ICT role within a busy ICT department of a financial institution or regulated environment.
