Industrial Attachment Opportunities at Kenya Power (May – July 2026 Intake)

In line with the Government’s commitment to supporting youth empowerment, Kenya Power is offering exciting industrial attachment opportunities to continuing students to gain hands-on work experience and develop key employability skills.

Categories & Programs

Bachelor’s Degree

  • Technical & Non-Technical programs

Diploma

  • Technical & Non-Technical programs

Craft Certificate

  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power Option)
  • Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
  • Building & Civil Engineering
  • Plumbing

Note: There are no vacancies for Information & Communication Technology (ICT) related courses for this intake.

Attachment Period

The industrial attachment opportunities are available in various departments for a maximum period of three (3) months, effective May to July 2026. Kindly note that the allowable period for attachment is strictly 3 months.

Requirements

Interested candidates should:

  1. Be available full time for the duration of the program (3 months).
  2. Be a continuing student pursuing a Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate (in the stated fields) in an accredited learning institution.
  3. Have a valid introduction letter from their respective learning institution.
  4. Have a valid personal accident insurance cover for the entire period of attachment.
