What you will do

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our CrossBoundary Energy Operations team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting daily operations such as maintaining and redesigning internal systems and platforms, managing day to day operations in Nairobi, development and accreditation of our Quality Management System and playing a key role our redesign of our internal project processes. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone eager to gain real-world operational experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Data Operations team in maintaining up-to-date information for all CBE contacts, accounts and leads (using Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Trialling new AI tools with the IT team including bots and agents for use by internal team and on CBE sites
  • Support the daily operations in the Nairobi office including quality management of the facilities.
  • Managing backstage reorganisation of CBE sharepoint and design of CBE intranet including document management system, file naming protocol and archiving process
  • Working with People Team to develop CBE induction process covering training and office specific orientation
  • Working with People Team to develop site and/or project specific protocols and guidance.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to update key documents such as policies and employee handbook.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel).
  • Experience with project management software (e.g. Microsoft Projects) are desirable
